Day by Day

I look up to the alarm buzzing in my ear. I let
out a sigh when I relize that it is actually 5:30
am.... did I even sleep at all?
My bones ache with every movement I make, and I'm
so tired I can barely get my eyes to open. The night
was full of restless sleeping, as sweat dripped all
over my body, and my sheets.
I go to the shower and start to peel my wet
clothes off, when a wavw of nausea hits my stomach. I
double over and vomit uncontrollably into the porclin
Goddess.
It takes every ounce of energy I have to finish
my shower and get down stairs, where I start my coffee
and have a toke out of my pipe. Marijuana is the only
thing that can subside this stomach sickness.
After my morning joint, coffee and cigerette, I
head upstairs to wake my boys. It's time to go to
work for us. We have a paper route of 150 to
deliver every morning.
We hop on our bikes to deliver the papers, and as
I pedal, I can feel myself becoming more and more
exhuasted. When we are finally done the routes, my
bones ache and I am usally dizzy as heck.... and the
Dr. told me excercise was good.
Once we're back home I get the boys ready for
school and they do their chores. They get paid well
to do their chores everyday. I feel bad that I make
them do as much as they do do, but I just don't ever
seem to have the energy to take care of the house
myself.
While the boys are a school, I clean up the
house, tiring me out for the rest of the afternoon...
which I usally play away in a cha\ir with video games.

At night, I lay a wake staring at the ceiling
until I finally pass out. When I do have
marijuana.... the others times I toss all night.
